There’s more to me than my work

There are standard things you would expect from a graphic designer. I am all those things, but it takes more than great design to show my value and character.

  1. I’m always willing to dive into something I have no idea how to do if a client needs it. I learn it on the fly and provide what they have asked for.
  2. I can jump from one task to something completely different in a quick-changing environment.
  3. I’m self-motivated, efficient, enthusiastic and organized.
  4. I don’t play tennis, but know everything about professional tennis. Having designed for the Western & Southern Open my entire career, I wanted to understand how to better engage tennis and non-tennis fans.
  5. Organizing with empathy, patience and efficiency is my jam. Assisted in finding care options for my grandparents, provided elder cell phone support, and handled a myriad of tasks associated with the dispersal of their house and property. Coordinated a high-end antiques auction and another for the rest of the items in their house.
  6. I’m unapologetically nerdy. I spend my free time playing Ingress, the original augmented reality GPS game, on my phone. I have been all over the country playing in-game live competitions and am a leader in the Cincinnati community.
  7. I am a free spirited kayaker and hiker. I spend my warm weather weekends chasing rapids or leisurely paddling.
  8. I express my thoughts in poetry that no one gets to read.
